Arnott’s Firewood & Equipment was founded by Hannah and John Arnott, a husband-and-wife team with a passion for building something of our own while creating a business that gives back to the community we call home.
As a family-owned, Indigenous-owned business in Northern Ontario, we believe that doing business well means more than providing a great product. It means supporting the people, businesses, families, and communities around us.

OUR STORY
Arnott’s Firewood & Equipment began in 2022 with a simple idea: to build something of our own, right here in the community we call home.
What started as a small family business has grown into a modern, growing firewood company serving families, businesses, campgrounds, retailers, and communities throughout Northern Ontario. As a husband-and-wife team, Hannah and John Arnott bring different strengths to the business, but share the same goal—to build something we can be proud of and pass on to our family.
As an Indigenous-owned business rooted in Northern Ontario, we’re proud to do things a little differently. We focus on quality, local relationships, and thoughtful growth—working with local landowners, foresters, and small businesses while creating premium products for our customers. As Arnott’s continues to grow, our vision remains the same: build a successful family business that creates opportunities, supports local communities, and gives back along the way.
