OUR MISSION

At Arnott’s Firewood & Equipment, our mission is simple: provide high-quality, locally sourced products while giving back to the community that supports us.

As a family-owned, Indigenous-owned business in Northern Ontario, we believe in doing business with people and places in mind. We are committed to creating premium products, supporting local suppliers and landowners, and keeping our business rooted in the community we call home.

We proudly purchase wood products from local small businesses and work with private landowners and local foresters whenever possible. By choosing local, we help support other families, entrepreneurs, and businesses throughout our region while keeping more of the value of our resources within our community.

Giving back is equally important to us. As our business grows, we want that growth to benefit more than just our own family. We are committed to supporting local initiatives, organizations, and community causes that matter to the people around us.

We also believe in being responsible with the natural resources we work with. Where possible, we repurpose wood that might otherwise go to waste and continue to explore ways to give back to the land—including providing tree seeds and saplings to encourage future growth and reforestation.

Most importantly, we strive to create products we are proud to put our name on—premium, locally minded, and made with individuals, families, and communities in mind.
